Suppressors can be used as follows:
Dry, as made / manufactured.
Wet, using a liquid. This liquid can be water or using a liquid gel or grease such as lithium.
When using water use a small spray bottle. Spray twice in both ends of the suppressor and attach to the rifle barrel.
Firing a wet suppressor generally further reduces the sound but after use the suppressor needs to be cleaned immediately if fired wet.

Many Suppressors can accommodate multiple calibers, Example: 22LR; 22 WMR; 17HMR; 5,7x28
Starting January 1, 2026 the $200.00 Tax Stamp is gone.
The TAX Stamp has no ATF Fee but is still required.
Suppressors are still an NFA Item and require the following -
1) ATF Approval and Tax Stamp;
2) Processing which includes Fingerprint Card and Photo;
3) ATF eForm Account;
4) Filing Cost, approximately $25.00 plus $25.00 Single Trust Fee;
5) Individual Filing Account;
6) FBI NICS Background - Not Required if buyer has State issued CCW/CCP;
7) FFL, ATF Form 4473 with Driver's License or Federal ID;
8) Buyer must be 21 or older.
Approximate ATF waiting time and turnaround less than 30 Days from submittal.
Fingerprint Cards are one time process, good for life.
Photos are good for one year.
Buyers can add as many names to their Trust as they want.
Buyers can purchase one suppressor or multiple suppressors.
